DILG Ilocos Sur Provincial Office
The DILG Ilocos Sur Provincial Office provides technical and administrative oversight to the Province of Ilocos Sur through three (3) operational sub-clusters. This clustering mechanism facilitates efficient program implementation, monitoring, technical assistance, and coordination among local government units (LGUs). The three sub-clusters are: Sub-Cluster 1 – Covers the First District of Ilocos Sur, including the City of Vigan and the municipalities within the district such as Bantay, Caoayan, Cabugao, Magsingal, San Ildefonso, San Juan, San Vicente, Santa Catalina, Santo Domingo, and Sinait.
Sub-Cluster 2 – Covers the other local government units (LGUs) of the Second District of Ilocos Sur, which includes Burgos, City of Candon, Nagbukel, Narvacan, San Esteban, Santa, Santa Cruz, Santa Lucia, Santa Maria, Santiago, and Tagudin providing technical assistance and monitoring to the municipalities not included in the upland sub-cluster.
Sub-Cluster 3 – Covers the upland municipalities of Ilocos Sur, primarily composed of geographically isolated and mountainous municipalities, allowing focused technical assistance responsive to their unique development and governance needs. The upland municipalities include Alilem, Banayoyo, Cervantes, Gregorio del Pilar, Lidlidda, Nagbukel, Quirino, Salcedo, San Emilio, Sigay, Sugpon, and Suyo.

We commit to continually improve the effectiveness of our Quality Management System compliant with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements and international standards gearing towards organizational efficiency in pursuing our mandate and achieving our client’s satisfaction.
