Among the areas visited was the barangay's Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (BDRRMO), where disaster preparedness equipment, supplies, other resources and documentations were inspected and assessed to determine their availability and readiness for use during emergencies and disasters. The activity also provided an opportunity to assess the barangay's preparedness and compliance with relevant disaster risk reduction and management mechanisms. Barangay IV is set to participate in the City Government of Vigan's search for the Most Functional Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (BDRRM) Council.
