VIGAN CITY, Ilocos Sur β The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Ilocos Sur (Provincial Office and City Office) monitored the ongoing implementation of the first round of the Rice Distribution Program of the City Government of Vigan on July 27, 2026 and July 29, 2026, funded under the Local Government Support FundβGrowth Equity Fund (LGSF-GEF) CY 2026.
The initial round of the rice distribution benefited households of Barangays III, IV, and VIII, which were identified as beneficiary barangays for the first round. A total of 338 households.
Succeeding rounds of rice distribution will be implemented in all the remaining barangays of Vigan City.
Present during the monitoring activity were LGOO VI/CLGOO Cesarieta R. PestaΓ±o and LGOO II Ann France Burgonio of the DILG Vigan City Office, together with Engineer III Raul C. Cerdan and Engineer II Ryan Nicholas V. D. Bondad, representatives from the DILG Ilocos Sur Provincial Office.
